LLN test
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test helps identify the learning needs of students before they start training at Bedford.
Prior to commencing studies at Bedford, you will be required to undertake a LLN test to confirm your language, literacy and numeracy skills.
The LLN assessment ensures you have the basic skills required to complete your studies and succeed in the workplace. Apart from this, the test will also give Bedford College a clear picture of your current level of language, literacy and numeracy skills so we can provide relevant support if required during your studies.
The LLN test will evaluate your level of ability in five core skills as per the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF):
- Reading
- Numeracy
You only need to complete the online LLN test once, regardless of your previous qualification or nationality. If you’re returning to your studies at Bedford after a long break, you may need to complete the LLN test at the College’s discretion.
Before you can start studying at Bedford College, you will need to successfully complete an online LLN test. Please contact the College for more information about the LLN test.
