Career readiness
Studying at Bedford means you have access to extra support, mentorship and skill development outside the classroom.
Our career-focused education helps prepare students for the workforce. At Bedford, we recognise that formal training and qualifications are critical for the future success of our students.
However, employers are also looking for candidates with ‘soft skills’ such as effective communication, teamwork, problem solving and the ability to negotiate.
To help prepare you for the workplace, Bedford facilitates seminars for students on career planning and employability skills. We also offer training on interview techniques, CV and cover letter writing and professional presentation.
It’s all part of our career readiness program to equip and train students to be job-ready from day one.
For 80 years, we have been equipping and training people towards a fulfilling career in high-demand sectors.
