No ATAR? No problem! With an entry requirement of Year 10 completion for domestic students, you could be only one year to a career.
When we talk to students, what surprises them most is they don’t need an ATAR to enter Bedford College.
Though many are aiming for high ATAR scores to gain entry into university, we find that some don’t want the pressure of being ‘scored’ in a final exam.
Gladly, we like to take the pressure off. With a minimum requirement of Year 10 completion, Bedford welcomes students from all walks of life seeking pathways into employment, university or entrepreneurship.

Minimum Year 10 completion
No ATAR required
Completion of a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment
After graduating with a low ATAR, I discovered I lacked skills and quality qualifications to find a sustainable job. Thus, I began to search for a course that will help me increase my skills and qualifications. When looking into a course to study to improve my skills, Bedford College really did provide a good opportunity for me as it was only for 1 year and I can get a Dual Diploma in Business and Leadership with access to university.

VET Student Loans
If you are a domestic student studying a Diploma course at Bedford, you may be eligible to apply for a VET Student Loan (VSL).
Scholarships
Our scholarships are made as a reduction of fees and give students opportunities they might not otherwise have.
