Welcome to Bedford College
In an era of accelerating change, people are facing all kinds of challenges. From the COVID-19 pandemic to economic uncertainty and cost-of-living pressures, I recognise that many are doing it tough.
As the Chief Executive of Bedford College, I can say that we, as an organisation, have navigated some very difficult times throughout our history. Since the establishment of the College post World War II in 1943, we have always existed to make a positive difference in the world through the provision of relevant and innovative course offerings.
Today, I invite you to contribute to a better tomorrow by acquiring essential skills in vocations that benefit our local communities – business, health care, education, and social work. From the early childhood educator who helps shape the world of pre-schoolers to the community services domestic violence worker who supports the most vulnerable of our society – collectively, we have the opportunity to restore balance in a hurting and rapidly changing world.
Through our work and vocation, we can fully engage with our communities as agents of change, improving the quality of life for families, couples and individuals as well as those largely affected by circumstances, crisis, and disadvantages. To this end, we aim to deliver high quality training and education that meets the emerging needs of society in a caring Christian environment.
Join us on our journey towards making our world a better place through action, courage and compassion.
